Cedars Short Stay School provides a varied curriculum for learners from 11 to 16 years who struggle to stay in mainstream settings. We are looking for a committed and outstanding teacher with SEMH understanding to be part of our team to plan, develop and implement our curriculum for students within the Inclusion and SEND sector.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic Pastoral Support Officer to supervise and support the learning of KS3 and KS4 pupils in our Short Stay School. Our pupils have complex emotional and academic needs and for a variety of reasons are out of mainstream education. An understanding and knowledge of how children learn is essential as well as the ability to focus clearly on children’s needs and a desire to help move learning on. Knowledge of Behaviour Management would be desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. This post is both challenging and rewarding. The successful candidate will find themselves in a very supportive, specialist and professional team
