CEDARS works closely with a number of local Colleges and Training Centres. The decision to place pupils in alternative provision requires serious consideration and involves experienced CEDARS staff working with the pupils and their parents / carers. Safeguarding our pupils is the number one consideration. Pupils are monitored carefully with regular meetings and visits. Placements are required to meet strict quality assurance measures and report on attendance daily.
Many college placement pupils will continue to attend the CEDARS Base in Knutton for literacy support, lessons for GCSE English, Maths and Functional Skills.
